Save Our Spirit

Save Our Spirit is a hidden-object game in which you are Lord Longstep, who is looking for his kidnapped wife. His wife has mystical powers, which may cause the world to be destroyed if they fall into wrong hands. You will travel around the world searching for clues that lead you to your wife, playing hidden-object games.

The scenes in the game are quite nicely drawn, and the objects are very well camouflaged in the environment, which makes the game pretty challenging. If you can't find a specific object, you can click on it on the list, and then click on hint to reveal its position. The hints are unlimited, but they take some time to recharge. The game only includes one mode, which is untimed, and there are no penalties for incorrect clicks.

Hidden-object games are varied. Sometimes, you are given a list of objects to find, sometimes their silhouettes, and sometimes you are required to find specific objects, like the pieces of a puzzle. There are also mini-games like jigsaw puzzles, memory games, etc., which are enjoyable, but can also be skipped if you don't feel like playing them. In between games, you are told, by means of a diary, what Lord Longstep is doing in order to find his wife.

Even though Save Our Spirit doesn't offer anything new to the genre, it still is an enjoyable hidden-object game that deserves a try.
